WHAT IS LEAF?
The Lincoln Educational Achievement Foundation (LEAF) is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization focused on raising funds in an effort to provide grants to Lincoln teachers for high impact curricular-related projects and classroom materials.  The purpose of these grants is to support academic excellence in and out of the classroom and enhance the education of all students. Since its inception, LEAF has awarded over $16,800 in grants to Lincoln teachers.

HOW CAN I HELP LEAF?
Currently we are looking for community members willing to give of their time and resources to help organize and facilitate LEAF’s fundraising projects and grant program.  Regardless of the amount of time you have to participate, we have many opportunities for you to serve. Open Board Meetings are held the second Thursday of every month from 6:00-7:00pm in the middle school choir room.  The April meeting will be moved to the 16th as the district will be on mid-winter break from April 6th-10th.  If you have any questions please contact us at:

Notice of public meeting: LEAF will be holding a special meeting Saturday April 18th with Richard T. Howard from the McCormick group of Grand Rapids.  Mr. Howard will be holding interviews with the LEAF board.  The purpose of this meeting is to assess the current state of our foundation and to have an outside agency generate suggestions to help us move forward as a foundation.  This meeting will be held in the middle school choir room from 12:00-2:00pm.  The public is welcome to attend.
